Pentarch Forestry has officially opened New Zealand’s first dedicated Sugi showroom in downtown Tauranga – a bold step in bringing Japanese timber innovation directly to local architects, designers and builders.
Located in the heart of the CBD, the new Sugi Showroom has been carefully positioned within walking distance of many leading architectural practices and surrounded by strong pedestrian and vehicle flows. The goal is simple: to spark the imagination of anyone thinking about their next residential or commercial project.
A Major Investment in the Future of Timber Design
The showroom is the result of a significant investment and months of work from Margerita and the wider Pentarch team. It brings together physical samples, detailed information and real-world applications of Sugi – allowing visitors to touch, see and specify the product with confidence.
With the new showroom open, the Sugi website and wider marketing programme are now fully underway. Pentarch’s ambition is to inspire and support:

Tauranga is home base, but the team provides expert advice and supply nationwide. Pentarch also operates a second showroom at the Residium Centre in Parnell, supporting the busy Auckland market and surrounding regions.
